Lesson 5 EXAM

Please post a Lesson 5 EXAM with 5 consecutive retrieves, in HIGH distractions, with no EC required @ 12" while heading to the ground.

Remember the DB remains in your right hand as you present on command of "Fetch". When working on an elevated surface, STRIVE TO NOT MOVE YOUR FEET AT ALL at this point in the training. Not always possible but try. When/if you are losing your balance, once the dog's head has moved past your left side, if needed, THEN step forward with your left foot, cage, turn (keep the dog in a stand with item in mouth as you continually cage and move backwards) to turn the dog 180 degrees to SSIF. A place board will help your dog to stabilize for the SSIF.

DO NOT PLACE DB ON THE GROUND, it remains above the ground.

Do this EXAM with your dog at whatever stage of the 'heading to the ground' you are ag.

Do the Turn to SSIF, "Give", praise.
