A place to gain transformation and develop teamwork, at a whole new level, during the retrieve training journey. A place to grow, to learn, to see yourself differently.
Watch your footwork-:) Again and again I will remind you.
You are to jerky on the "Fetch". Slow up. Roll the dowel into Fran's mouth. DO NOT RELEASE until her head relaxes. You can feel the dog relax. Use the Mannerly Puppy "Give" mechanics as you GENTLY roll the dowel out of the mouth.
You have a LONG way to go, there is no reason to be the leash bit forceful at this Lesson 1. Instead, smooth, fluid, gentle mechanics will go a VERY LONG way into helping the dog relax into having this put into their mouth.
GENTLE, SOFT, FLUID, SMOOTH mechanics are what you want.
Nate.
