A place to gain transformation and develop teamwork, at a whole new level, during the retrieve training journey. A place to grow, to learn, to see yourself differently.

1) I know Fran is in heat so sitting is hard on her. But does she always collapse on that left hip when in a Sit? So instead of 'fixing', lightly bump her with yoir left shoulder until she sits correctly in a Tuck Sit. When she does Sit correctly, praise with the verbal "GOOD Sit" and thump her chest as the physical praise. This trains a dog to choose to do a correct Tuck Sit JUST to earn your special praise and attention. My dogs, Ruth also, volunteer correctly Tuck Sits, off leash, so I will notice and praise from a distance. This gamenof "GOOD Sit" also reinforces the mechanics needed for the Moving Sit which morphs into the Random Sit which then morphs into the Whistle Sit. Play this game with her and have her on a Front aplace Board that ONLY allows her enough room to do a correct Tuck Sit.
2) "Fetch" is all you need. "Fran, Fetch " would only be used in the context of you having multiple trained dogs to retrieve, all on a Sit/Stay in a line, someone else throws a duck or bumper, all dogs REMAIN on their Sit/Stays, UNTIL you call a specific dog's name such as "Fran, Fetch ".
