A place to gain transformation and develop teamwork, at a whole new level, during the retrieve training journey. A place to grow, to learn, to see yourself differently.
When doing RoF, NO, you do NOT need to have someone else throw DB for you unless you aren't able to throw DB to 40'. I am NOT looking for flawless perfection in dog or handler. I AM looking for the dog to be steady, under control and command at all times, for the dog to launch as speed of lightening with prompt pickup and return. In the handler, I AM looking for CCC, no extra movements of legs or hands or knees or ANYTHING once the DB is tossed. Once dog launches, handler may need to move forward to maintain "O" ring of 40' ck cord and then back up behind Front Place Board so dog has target for SSIF. "Give" and either a "Swing" or "Heel" to finish.
Have fun. Please post your Fall into Retrieve 2022 EXAMS before the New Year.
