I moved around too much to accommodate Molly during the first try, so this afternoon we tried again, this time using place boards as Roxanne suggested. They helped remind to keep my feet from moving. We did 10 retrieves with one EC.
Not as much dancing this time 😂

1) Cease moving at all on the Finish. Molly should be able to find Heel position without any movement of your feet.
2) Careful on your praise as it is constant and so becomes a blur of noise. Instead, when a dog knows what to do, praise only for the job completed. Example after retrieve and dog is in correct SSIF. To much praise and then the praise becomes meaningless.
4) You need two of the smaller Front Place Boards.
